It all began in 2022 at Utrecht University, where Leo Hanhart — a third-generation IT pioneer — started experimenting with generative AI. His great-grandfather automated Europe’s first factory in 1967 at AkzoNobel, and his father built ERP systems and workflow automation as early as 1996. Carrying that same bold innovation gene, Leo immediately recognized that GenAI wasn’t just another tool — it was a once-in-a-century gift that would reshape the world.
While others saw limitations in early generative models, Leo saw the raw clay of the future. Late-night experiments turned into relentless prototyping, deep conversations with fellow visionaries became strategy sessions, and a quiet curiosity transformed into an unstoppable conviction: this technology would fundamentally reinvent how businesses operate, create, and connect — and someone had to lead the charge.
